motorola has introduced the edge 40 Pro, the global version of the moto X40 was introduced back in December in China. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ 165Hz 10-bit OLED screen with Dolby Vision, in-display fingerprint scanner. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage.
The phone has a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with macro option, 12MP 2X portrait telephoto lens and a 60MP front camera. It has IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. It has ThinkShield, Moto Secure, and Family Space features. Temperature Class
The phone has a sandblasted aluminium middle frame and a matte glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection that provides a silky feel. It packs a 4600mAh battery with support for 125W wired fast charging that can charge up to 50% in 7 minutes. There is also 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging.
The motorola edge 40 Pro comes in Interstellar Black and Lunar Blue colours and is priced at an MSRP of €899.99 (US$ 985 / Rs. 80,930 approx.)£799.99.
It is already rolling out in Europe and UK, and will roll out to selected markets across Latin America in the following weeks, said the company. No details about the India launch yet.
